Sadie‘s previous owner decided he had too many dogs and what could have ended very badly for this sweet girl turned out to be her saving grace.Thanks to a kind next-door neighbor who convinced the owner to give her to him and eventually found her way into Mokan Rescue.

Unfortunately once vetting was done we discovered Sadie is heartworm positive, which will mean several months worth of costly treatment. But my goodness this little girl is an absolute doll! She is very sweet and affectionate and would play fetch until she drops. Or until her owner does! She’s just a baby herself at a year old but it appears she’s had a litter of puppies in the past. Sadie has endured a lot of hardship in her short little life but it’s only great things for her from now on!
