Ava is a one year old bundle of fluffy love and energy.  She would make a great hiking, walking or jogging partner and will happily fetch a ball as long as you are willing to throw it for her.   She has never met a stranger and really loves children. 

In her foster home, she really enjoys playing with another young active border collie and is learning to respect the older dogs and kitties that aren't as excited to return her affection.

Ava has already mastered basic obedience commands such as sit, come and kennel.  She is housetrained and walks well on a leash.  She still sometimes gets so excited that she forgets her manners and may jump up at first but is learning to do this less.  She is food and toy motivated and eager to please. 

Ava's perfect family would have plenty of time to continue her training and socialization and give her lots of mental and physical challenges.  In return she will happily give endless snuggles, tail wags and welcome home parties for her humans. 

She will also require a fenced yard to keep her safe.
