Zella is a 1-2 year old black and white traditional Border Collie. She was found in a rural area in southern Missouri by a good Samaritan, so not a lot of information on her history but she is ready to get started with a forever home and share her endless supply of love and cuddles!

This girl is super sweet! Loves to cuddle and lounge around with her people.  She loves everyone she meets. This includes dogs!  She has met and played with dogs of all ages. Her play style preference would be chase for sure.  She LOVES toys and can from time to time hoard the toys of the house.  She has not shown any resource guarding towards others for affection or toys.  She likes to chase toys but is hit or miss on bringing it back to you; however, with some verbal encouragement will at least bring it close to you and drop it. Toy drive is low to moderate. 

She does great with cats and prey drive appears to be low with them, however, will bark at squirrels.

She is super agile and quick.  With some work, encouragement and confidence building may make a great agility dog.  She is not too sure what to make of water yet; interested in getting in kiddy pool but has not yet made the leap to get in. 

She is house trained and will go into crate when asked.  Does not bark a bunch but will bark when playing or excited about playing.  She can entertain herself with toys.  Has not chewed or destuffed toys to date. 

Will need some daily exercise, typically playing for 20-30 minutes a few times a day is adequate to keep her content and happy.

She is happy and healthy with no known medical issues.  On preventatives, microchipped, spayed and UTD on vaccines.

Zella is being fostered in the Columbia Missouri area.
