Enzo has made tons of progress when in foster care!  His eagerness to learn and to please has led him to walking nicely on a leash ( although he still thinks it’s exciting when he finds another dog on a walk). He takes great joy in finding all the good scents outside.  This is huge for Enzo as before he couldn’t focus enough to stop and sniff.  Enzo is learning alternatives to herding and is very proud of his new skills.

Commands he knows now include sit, down, off ,shake, roll over, and place.  What he has most enjoyed learning though, is that he loves to cuddle!  He will grin when having his chest scratched.  

Enzo also likes to cuddle and play with other dogs and would love to dog pile.  He does still have some anxieties (he is very glad July 4th is done), however, and will occasionally nip at another dog when his stress is high. 

Enzo is an amazing dog who has unlimited potential ( agility,  nose work,  pet therapy are just a few possibilities) . He loves meeting new people.  His new family will be very lucky to be loved by him.

Enzo is seeking an experienced border collie family who can gently and consistently guide him, and continue his training. This former stray dog needs a family without small kids. Enzo is currently in a foster home with a foster brother. He can be selective about his dog friends, or would do well as a solo dog.

Enzo will need someone willing to help him harness his moderate level energy. He has tons of potential and will be an amazing, fun, loving, and devoted companion. He is house broken.
