This sweet 1-year old girl is a 35-pound bundle of energy. Charlie loves to play ball, wrestle and chase other dogs, and especially play Frisbee. Charlie is very curious and loves to explore and find new and interesting games, she’s not scared of anything. She loves meeting other people and dogs and even loves kids. When no one is able to play with her she will throw her balls and Frisbee or hide them for herself. She just loves to play! At the end of a busy day she loves to curl up with you to take a nap. She really likes to curl up next to you in the morning before breakfast. Charlie is still very much a puppy, she is very goofy and can be clumsy. She is crate trained and mostly house broken, consistent practice is improving that behavior. Charlie can be obsessive with smaller animals, she may do better with no cats or small dogs. She would definitely need a high energy dog mate or a very tolerant dog. Charlie would also be fine as the only dog. She is not for the first time border collie owner. Charlie does have an issue with jumping up on people which isn’t helped that everyone loves her so much. She makes friends wherever she goes. As with housetraining, consistent practice and Charlie will be a model citizen and no longer jump. Because she is still so young Charlie has not yet learned that there are calm times but will lie down in her crate. Charlie excels at Frisbee, she will jump in the air and twist and turn to catch it. She would be excellent at Frisbee or flyball. Charlie would also do great with agility, anything to keep her busy mind active. She will need a home that provides lots of exercise and mental stimulation. When bored Charlie may start bad habits like chewing. Charlie would also be an excellent running companion, her long legs let her run miles and never slow down or get tired. Charlie is looking for an active family that will give her lots of attention and stimulation and she will give them lots of affection and love while creating many great memories. Charlie needs a fenced yard to keep her safe. She is being fostered in the KC/KS area.
