Merry - one of the Miracle Puppies! Our foster mom says we are living miracles. On Nov. 25th, a couple of guys were out joyriding in a truck in the middle of a Kansas snowstorm. They were 10 miles from town on a deserted dirt road. There was not a home in sight. They stopped to switch drivers and just happened to see a box in the ditch quickly being covered with snow. We were inside that snow covered box!! They quickly took us to a friend who got us warm and dry. MoKan Border Collie Rescue was contacted and we officially became part of the MoKan family . Our foster mom said we should have and would have frozen to death without these fun-loving guys out for a crazy snow ride!! We don't know their names, but they are our heroes!! Our foster mom even said so!! Then another tragedy struck. Before we could get to our new foster home, we got really sick with this thing called Parvo. Sadly, our sister, Noel, did not make it. It has been a long road, but we are all finally healthy. Our foster mom said we are true miracles, beating death twice! We are 12 weeks old (born 10/27) and ready find our forever homes . Our foster mom said we are like a box of chocolates!! Not really sure what's inside as our doggie mom and dad were not known. We range in size from a little over 2lbs. to 9 lbs. when we were 8 weeks old. So there is something for everyone!! The rescue's best guess is some small dog breed mixed in with border collie. I thought I heard someone say our breed was "Adorable!", just saying...?!! We are active little pups, frolicking with each other every chance we get! We really get along amazingly well together while playing and just hanging out. We are on the smaller size (some more than others) so should fit perfectly in your arms! And let me tell you...that is exactly where we all want to be!!! Merry - is the shy one, but once you have won her over, she is as cuddly as they come! With her long black coat and beautiful chocolate eyes, she is such a beauty! She is the calmest of the bunch. Merry is being fostered in the Rolla, Mo area.
