Domino is a firecracker of a puppy who came to Mokan as a stray from rural Kansas so not much is known about her first couple months of life but she’s been an absolute joy in foster. In her short time with Mokan she’s shown a high drive for toys and treats and has quickly picked up several commands and her name. Domino has consistently kept a clean kennel but her new family will need to continue her potty training. She is also crate trained and will snooze through the night like a little pro. Domino’s favorite hobbies include: sneakily stealing toys from her foster brother, figuring out puzzle toys, finding the highest point on the couch to claim as her lookout, playing fetch, wrestling with her foster brother and playing tug of war until her foster mom’s arm gets tired. Overall she’s incredibly well behaved and loves showing you how well she sits for treats but she is still very much a typical puppy so things like stray shoes and electronics will need to be cleared from floors. If her new home has existing animals they should be playful yet patient ones, as fluffy doggie ears and tails can make for fun chew toys for a puppy! Domino has the makings for an agility competitor and improves her frisbee and ball catches every day. While she has not been tested around cats she is already demonstrating her natural herding instinct and would likely herd kitty as well. She’d also fare well as a single pet if her owners spend the proper time to exercise her mental and physical abilities, as she picks things up very quickly and could become bored easily. |
