Hi everyone! I’m Lola a 5 year old, 30lb border collie mix from Oklahoma. I’m currently living with my foster dad in Kansas City, but as much as I love living with him, what I really want is a forever home. I LOVE people, all kinds of people. I love meeting new people on my walks and giving them kisses. Lots and lots of kisses. I’m very friendly dog that likes attention. I also love to take a nice long nap in my kennel. I’m super quiet. I never bark or howl in the house. Although I do groan some when I get up and stretch. My foster dad says I’m one of the quietest and cutest dogs he has ever met. I love going for our morning and afternoon walks together, although I’m super interested in squirrels. After all, they basically are rats with a large tail. They just bring out my hunting instinct. And, sometimes my foster dad says I get the zoomies, whatever that is. I love eating breakfast and having some play time with a stuffed toy my foster dad got me. I’m not a picky eater. I have loved all the different types of dog food especially the treats my foster dad gives me. My foster dad isn’t sure I if I received much training before I came to live with him, but he is teaching me to sit and be calm. He also has taught me to “stop” and “turn” on our walks. I would really love to have even more training in my forever home. I’m a dog that likes to learn and have a routine in my life. A NOTE FROM HER FOSTER DAD Lola has been a fun dog to hang out with. Please be patient while waiting for a response. HEALTH AND TRAINING Lola has been fully vetted, is up-to-date on her vaccinations, heart worm negative and has been spayed. OTHER FRIENDS Lola is super fast, so a fenced in yard is recommended. She would need to meet any dogs in her potential home, and it would be best if they are neutral or submissive. Lola is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
