Hodgins is one of Hope’s puppies-Hope is a border collie and/or Aussie mix. Hope is on the smaller side and has a rough tri-color coat with some brindle. Hope is a lower energy border collie and does not appear to have much interest in herding or working drive. Hope is a shy dog by nature and these puppies should have continued socialization to make sure they are able to cope with or overcome any genetic tendency to be fearful they may have. Hope also has significant signs of hip dysplasia on her x-rays but no apparent clinical signs at this time. The puppies would be predisposed to hip dysplasia based on this but they also may never have an issue. We felt any potential adopters should be aware of this. These puppies have been raised in a foster home and handled daily. The father is unknown but it’s possible he was also a border collie or Aussie mix with a rough coat. These puppies will be lower to medium energy and make great companion dogs. The puppies will need two additional sets of vaccines after adoption and will be adopted out on a spay/neuter contract mandating that a surgical spay or neuter be performed by six months of age. The puppies will be placed in the best fit home and not on a first come/first serve basis. Hodgins is a larger male with eyes that look right into your soul. He’s a sweet boy who likes to play but also likes to admire you and gives kisses right on the nose Hodgins is being fostered in the Ozark Mo area.
