Riley is an energetic 5-6 year old tri color border collie and an absolute sweetheart. 

She came into rescue living outside her entire life, never seeing a vet.  As a result, Riley was Heartworm positive.

She has completed treatment and is ready to find her forever family, and experience an active life!

Riley is very affectionate and loves everyone, including kids. She likes to greet you with paws up, and would love to be a lap dog. She is learning the concept of “ four on the floor”, and sitting to greet friends, which is preferred by her humans. She is very smart, and eager to learn, very food motivated! Riley would love to continue obedience training.

Riley loves all activities, up for absolutely anything. She loves walks, would probably be a good running or hiking partner, and loves to play. She plays with toys with or without you, and plays with other dogs. She will be good as a solo dog, but really enjoys another dog that likes to play. She has learned her older foster sibling doesn’t care for her antics, and is respectful, leaving her alone.

She has been to the dog park, loving to find a friend that enjoys her active play style.
