Atlas is an affectionate black and white Border Collie mix, estimated to be under 2 years old. He has the cutest slight underbite which shows off his perpetually happy smile even more. He enjoys meeting new people and sits politely for attention. His favorite thing to do is to cuddle on the couch with people.

Atlas respects his older canine housemate and has enjoyed playing one on one with young dogs who give clear play overtures. He is afraid of dominant dogs, so dog parks will not be for him. He would do best in small play groups and slow introductions to new dogs.

Atlas does well in his kennel and settles down quickly after he's had play time or exercise. He is house trained but needs supervision and retraining when his routine is disrupted by visiting dogs or schedule changes. He walks well on leash and is working on attention cues when passing by barking dogs.

Atlas loves his fenced backyard but has been known to dig in easy spots, usually to go play with other dogs next door.
