Willie is an adorable young dog who sometimes thinks he’s still a puppy.  He’s sweet, soft and cuddly and has a youthful exuberance.  He learns quickly and is excited about new things.  He already knows sit, down and wait and is learning fetch and stay. 

Willie loves his foster family  - both his canine brother and his foster mom and dad.  He’s ready to play with all of them.  When he hears his name, he bounds into his foster mom’s arms. 

Willie loves to be close and will snuggle as long as you want.  He’s also content chilling out for a nap or two during the day.  Willie is very food motivated and has a lot of aptitude for jumping into chairs – agility maybe?  He also has a great nose and can find food wherever it’s left – noseworks? 

Willie came in as a stray from a shelter who couldn’t keep him any longer, so we don’t know much about his past.  But he has the potential to be a loving, fun companion for the right person or family.

Willie is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
