Mouse is one of 6 puppies that were left in a box along a creek in rural Oklahoma (one puppy was found in the water.) They were taken to the pound but kept outside. Once with Mo-Kan they were placed in foster homes and have thrived beautifully! Mouse is 4-months old and has grown to 10 pounds. She is a playful puppy and runs everywhere she goes! She knows Sit, Down, Kennel, Go Potty, Inside and Outside. Mouse is fully vaccinated so we’re working on leash walking. New situations make her a bit nervous so we’re making sure she gets lots of opportunities for experiences. We’ve started going to the bus stop each morning to socialize with the kids before they get on the bus. Tug is her #1 game and she will play it with humans, her littermate or one of the adult dogs in her foster home. Her next favorite activities are wrestling and playing chase with her littermate and chewing on her deer antler. We don’t know what breeds Mouse is mixed with but she shows some Aussie tendencies. Her adult coat is starting to come in but it’s not clear whether it will be medium length or shorter. She tends to look to the other dogs for cues on what to do and responds appropriately to all the dogs, puppies, and cats that she meets. She is a sweet puppy and will need a home that will continue to build her confidence. Mouse will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract. Mouse is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
