Hi my name is Lainey. I am a one year old beautiful red and white female Border Collie. You may have heard of me. I was found floating on a piece of Styrofoam in a marijuana irrigation ditch. I have been with my foster mom and her Border Collies since Mother's Day. I am so happy to be in a house with a yard and playmates to run with. I have learned so much in a week. My foster mom says I am a quick learner and very eager to please. I have learned to "sit", "lie down" and "come" in very short sessions. I am working on other obedience commands. I do sleep in a crate. I am housebroken. I learned to use the doggy door on my first day. I am learning about toys and how to play. I enjoy car rides, going for walks and chilling with my foster mom. Yes, I am active and playful, but I have an off switch. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard. Older children would be nice, but not necessary. I am heartworm negative on prevention, microchipped and up to date on my vaccines. I will be getting spade in the future. Lainey is being fostered in the St. Louis, MO area.
