This adorable fluffball came to MoKan after she and her littermate were 'dumped' outside on a 100 degree summer day.
Sweet little Poppy is now safe and living indoors with her foster mom, foster brother, and several furry foster siblings.
Poppy is a healthy girl estimated to be 3 months old and weighing just over 16 pounds. She is a smart & energetic puppy who is quickly learning about social graces and working on house training & crate training.
Poppy is very friendly but appropriately cautious, and she knows how to use her voice. She loves to play with stuffies and has yet to meet a tennis ball who isn't her best friend! Poppy loves to go on car rides and is doing very well learning to walk on a leash. She likes to be held & snuggled...until she doesn’t...because her puppy curiosity kicks in and she needs to investigate!
Poppy plays well with other dogs (big & small), and she is curious about kitty cats but not at all aggressive toward them.
Poppy has so much potential and would love to join a family willing to teach her all about the many things she'll be eager to learn.
