Myrl Myrl (Adopted 10/2024) Myrl’s “foster fail” parents are a retired couple so they are home with her much of the time. Since Myrl’s adoption, she has quickly become a very important and loved member of the family. Myrl and her new mom take long walks twice a day (frequently dad comes too) and they play frisbee in the yard every day. She also enjoys car rides. Myrl is very attached her toys and generally takes one everywhere she goes. She still barks loudly at everyone who comes to their home (which was common with her prior owner); however, she is beginning to recognize regular visiting family and quiets down pretty quickly. She shows no aggression, only fear and anxiousness around strangers. A ThunderShirt helps while we are trying to build up her confidence in new situations.
