Meet Logan, a beautiful 17 month old Australian Shepherd mix. Logan has experienced neglect, and abuse in his young life. He was unwanted, changed homes multiple times, and given to a wonderful person that contacted our rescue for help. Logan came into foster and has not looked back. He came into rescue shut down and confused, now is blossoming into the most wonderful boy! Logan is such a happy boy, now curious about everything with ears up, smile on his face and constant tail wagging. He is gaining confidence daily as he has settled into the routine in his foster home. Logan can be so silly, and the perfect gentleman, polite, gentle and a real sweetheart. He loves to be close to his humans to get all the love and attention. He is a good watch dog, alerting you to company, otherwise generally quiet. He loves to snuggle on the couch and take a good nap. Logan loves to play with his foster siblings! He enjoys the race, chase and play with all the dogs, and would love a fenced yard to play. He loves to ride in the car, exploring new places, and meeting new friends, all humans and dogs alike. He would be a great dog to take on all your adventures. Logan has lived with and loves kids, especially girls! Logan walks nicely on a leash and loves going for walks, would probably enjoy hiking or running as well. He loves his dog friends, but would be fine as a solo dog as well. Logan is food and praise motivated, knows multiple commands, sit, down, wait, and sits up on command. He loves to learn; an obedience class would be great for building his confidence. Logan is a low to medium drive border collie, a soft boy that need a gentle hand and all positive training to continue to flourish. Logan is crate and house trained, will need patience as he settles in his new home and learns the routine. He is ready for his forever home! Does Logan sound like the perfect addition to your family?
