Animal Success Stories

Success Stories

We are very pleased to share the story of our dog’s forever home and to know that we helped guide these dogs into a bright future. Each and every creature deserves to be appreciated and loved. That is what rescue work is all about.

We LOVE photos of how our Mo-Kan Alumni are doing!  Please send us photos and a short update on how you are all doing!
Please include when adopted and if they were listed under a former name.

Benji

Benji (Adopted 5/2021)

This beautiful, sweet boy Benji was adopted by one of our Mo-Kan volunteers, Melanie and Kent!! Benji will have a life of camping, daily walks, and fetching his tennis ball in his huge back yard. So happy for Benji and his new family, they all clearly adore each other already!!

Tucker

Tucker (adopted 4/2021)

Tucker was adopted by Dan and Debbie.  They lost their 2 Australian Shepherd rescues over the winter.  The dogs had been with them 10 and other 6 years, and both were rescued with health and abuse issues.  They understand the challenges they may experience with Tucker, and accept him for who he is. They will provide Tucker a safe and loving home for hopefully, many years to come!

Nellie

Nellie (adopted 4/2021)

Nellie has found a home with small humans( she ADORES kids, especially Cooper!) and an active family.

Nellie loves any kind of ball, tennis, soccer, and frisbees. She has also become a very good swimmer, as she lives on a lake, she can swim daily!

She hit the jackpot, Nellie's new family said she really “found” them when they all needed her the most.

Brewster
Brewster

Brewster (Adopted 6/2020)

Brewster enjoys being his owner's constant companion on canoe trips, mushroom hunts, and is one of 3 separately owned greeter dogs at Astral Glass Studio in New Haven, MO.

Marshall

Marshall (adopted 2/2021)

Marshall a very distinguished gentleman. He has been with us for 3 weeks. He is settling well and trying to figure out the frisbee. He chases it then carries it around and becomes uninterested. We’ll try something else and revisit frisbee later. He’s a great dog.
